Combining yoga with glow in the dark body art, live mantra music, fun prizes and tasty vegan finger food, Flow in the Dark Yoga Party is a unique upcoming event that will take over Mo’s Desert Clubhouse for one night in May.
For both amateur and experienced yogis as well as anyone looking for a good time, Flow in the Dark Yoga Party invites all for a fun evening of glow in the dark yoga freestyle! It’s all set to be a memorable night of good vibes with a unique twist on yoga that will allow yogis and first-time participants to express themselves in bright and colourful new ways.
Starting at 6.30pm, the schedule will begin with Body Art Workshop and Mocktails. From 7.15pm, Funky Glow Yoga Flow will see all take part in stretches, asanas and freestyle yoga in the dark! At 8.30pm, Flow in the Dark Yoga Party will close with live mantra music, vegan finger food, hands-on games and lots of prizes to be won.

2019 Gold Coast Open
The Burleigh Pro returns bigger and better this 2019 as the newly named Gold Coast Open, which will see some of the world’s finest surfers gather on the Gold Coast to battle it out at iconic Burleigh Point.
The Flight Centre Burleigh Pro has showcased some of the world’s best surfers in recent years while attracting thousands of surf enthusiasts from all over the country. The festival-style event serves as part of the WSL Qualifying Series, and is one of Australia’s biggest surfing events that takes place each year on the Queensland Gold Coast.
This year, the Burleigh Pro has been renamed the Gold Coast Open, and it’s all set to return better than ever before. Both Men’s and Women’s events will see a diverse pool of international and local talent give it their best on the waves – all in a bid to showcase their skills and earn points as the WSL Qualifying Series unfolds. The 2019 Gold Coast Open will also introduce the Pro Junior Men’s and Pro Junior Women’s events for the first time ever, allowing young surfers to join in and show off their abilities.
Attendees and spectators will be treated to a thrilling display of pro surfing along with a fantastic atmosphere generated by live local bands and half-pipe skateboarding events. There will also be an open-air movie night on the beach, as well as yoga sessions for all ages and capabilities to take part in.
The 2019 Gold Coast Open presented by Flight Centre will arrive in Burleigh Heads for six days of action-packed surfing and entertainment from Tuesday, May 7 to Sunday, May 12.
