Woke up this morning to another brilliant sunny day here at beautiful Burleigh, once again we’re staying at our favourite Burleigh Heads accommodation BURLEIGH SURF APARTMENTS, right opposite Burleigh Beach on the Gold Coast.
Today will be a quiet affair I feel as yesterday the whole family spent the day at Seaworld and what a time we had! It only took us 20 minutes to get there and as we’d bought our tickets at Burleigh Surf Reception bright and early that morning, this meant a streamlined entry into the Theme Park whilst many others had substantial queues to contend with – big advantage.
First port of call was to work out all the shows we wanted to see and in what order we’d see them, that done it was off to JET RESCUE, this was a ride that all the family was keen on and what a blast, even I enjoyed it although it certainly seemed faster than the 70k’s advertised to me! Next on list was the Rollercoaster, not my cup of tea I’m afraid so Clara and I sat that one out whilst the boys got right into the action – wow!! Lucky breakfast had been some time ago or there could have been problems.
I lost track after that but I do know that Dolphins, Penguins, Polar Bears and Sharks featured very strongly closely followed by loads of other rides and attractions, a FABULOUS DAY! Using our VIP PASS we will definitely be back to see the things we missed or just have to see again in the next week, maybe squeeze in another holiday at Burleigh Surf in early in 2012 – now there’s an idea. Burleigh Surf Apartments offers the best accommodation when visiting the range of Gold Coast Theme Parks.

Back home to our spacious apartment at Burleigh Surf and I headed straight to our private spa bath to ease out the kinks of the day, the children went down to the indoor heated pool (as if they hadn’t had enough water already!) We spent the night in ordering take-away and having it delivered to the apartment door – luxury! We ate out on our private balcony with a chilled bottle of white bought from the bottle shop a block away. Everything you could need is just a short walk from this resort. The day was finished with a movie for the children but an early night for me!
This has been a great holiday and today’s another day!
