“Needing to have a sort relaxing break after a hectic 2011 year I went online searching for a wee bit of paradise in or around Burleigh Heads. After much deliberation I chose Burleigh Surf Apartments which was situated right on the beachfront, only a stones throw from the patrolled Burleigh beach with easy access.

I needed time to just relax and catch my breath and focus on getting well again after an unexpected illness, what a time I had lying on the balcony of my very own comfortable apartment reading, watching the world go by and gazing on the amazing surf. I was very lucky to be able to have my afternoon nap every day in the warm breezy weather, the views were magnificent and personally I found the sound of the waves very soothing.

Soaking in the indoor heated pool every morning was a great treat for the day and really made me feel spoilt.

Burleigh Surf Apartments are a great place to stay, the atmosphere is very friendly and the building is certainly prime position with from what I saw very comfortable Burleigh Heads accommodation.

Whether you need a place recuperate like me or a  longer holiday, I would certainly recommend Burleigh Surf as a safe, affordable and pleasurable option. There seems to be a lot of repeat guests at this complex, everyone knows everyone and all are happy to help. I eagerly look forward to my next visit when I should be up for a bit more activity”.

“We found Burleigh Surf Apartments to be the best Resort to spend our New Years Eve at.  Staying in a 2 bedroom Apartment on the 14th level gave us the best advantage to watch the Gold Coast celebrate the New Year as the fireworks lit up the skies and our champagne flowed.   The size of the apartment was spacious and accommodated our visiting friends beautifully – what a great night we all had and we didn’t even leave our room!!
We had a fabulous dinner in our apartment cooked by the menfolk,  followed by picture perfect views of the 9pm fireworks at Surfers Paradise, champagne and good company for a few hours until the crescendo of fireworks at Midnight – we saw EVERYTHING, the atmosphere was electric.
The next morning we found we had the indoor pool and sauna to ourselves to recuperate at our leisure – obviously some were enjoying a late sleep-in. The gym looked appealing and would have been in keeping with the New Year`s resolution but sadly none of us were up to that on the day. We opted for a nice long walk along the beach as the next best thing, the water looked amazing – what a start to the New Year.
To see in the New Year at Burleigh Surf Apartments at beautiful Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast was awesome! Great location, great apartment, terrible hangover (self inflicted of course) so close to the clubs and shops, for us it was perfect.  We are booked in for the next new year already and this time I WILL visit the Gym!”

Burleigh Heads Accommodation – Guest Review

“My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic stay at Burleigh Surf Apartments at Burleigh. This was our last opportunity to get away before the birth of our second child due in early January ’12 and Burleigh Surf came recommended to us from a number of friends who swear by the place, you can now add us to the list! My mother was able to look after our daughter so hubby and I were able to get away for a few days (sadly only 4, longer next time) to enjoy this time before the new arrival and just relax and clear our heads – what a wonderful idea.

 We opted for a 1 bedroom Superior apartment – HUGE – I can`t imagine how big some of the other apartments must be as this one was just enormous, perfect for us as we spent a lot of time in the apartment and the views were amazing. We had a look at a 2 bedroom Standard apartment and when we come back in 2012 this will be perfect for all the family including the new addition. Still lots of room but they are available on lower levels as well as I would feel more comfortable a little closer to the ground when we bring the children.

 We didn`t get up to much during our stay but that wasn`t the point of this holiday, we were able to spend time lazing by the pools (the indoor one will be perfect for us in winter but a bit too warm for me now, the outdoor pool was great), strolls to the beach directly in front of us and ample places to eat locally and we found there are kiddies playgrounds no more than 3 minutes walk in either direction, this will come in handy for next time. Staff were very helpful recommending and organising a dinner cruise for us on our last night which we thoroughly enjoyed – River Cruises, well worth it.

 We`ll always remember this special time, just the two of us and try to make the effort to do it again soon and definitely at Burleigh Surf, great Burleigh Heads Accommodation!

“I took the family for a holiday on the Gold Coast last month and stayed at Burleigh Surf Apartments (fantastic) big open rooms with great facilities, views to get really excited over and friendly staff that went out of their way to help us and point us in the right direction.  Never stayed there before but we took a recommendation of relatives who swear by the place so thought we would try them out, what a find!

Our main goal was to relax and do a heap of fishing as we had brought the tinnie with us. We were really impressed with the endless amount of spots to wet a line either out on the tinnie or just under one of the many bridges in the area, we were in heaven, fully surrounded by canals, beach fronts, headlands and seaways, there were lots of options. We managed to catch Flat Head, Whiting, Bream, Mangrove Jack, Kingfish and even a Jew! – there`s many more species around to catch so the locals tell me but this lot near did my head in.

Every afternoon we would journey back to Burleigh Surf with the catch of the day and jump straight into the outdoor pool, the littlies went for the indoor heated pool but the outdoor pool was a more refreshing option for me, a spa followed and once or twice a sauna to really finish us off!
Relaxing on the balcony, beer in hand before going down to the BBQ area cooking off whatever we had just caught – how good is this! Hot chips were bought from the takeaway shop around the corner just a few minutes walk from the Resort and a quick salad was made up in the kitchen that seemed to stock all that we needed.

Surfers may be Paradise but Burleigh is just BRILLIANT and Burleigh Surf Apartments is our new holiday destination ….. we`re counting the days till we can come back again hopefully February `12. Burleigh Heads and Burleigh Surf Apartments offer a great family holiday.”

“Wow! a holiday in warm sunny Burleigh Heads.

Burleigh Surf Apartments was our destination and I have to admit after winning the Rugby Union Footy I was looking forward to lying back, feet up, drink in hand and wallowing in our glory with the rest of our Kiwi mates.

I thought we had it all back in New Zealand (footy trophy and all) but when we walked into our apartments at Burleigh Surf what greeted me took this old fellas breath away – and believe me that does not happen often! The awesome views were unbelievable, I could see up to Surfers Paradise to the north and southern to Coolangatta, in fact I`m sure I could nearly see the coast of New Zealand. Then I stood on the balcony admiring the sandy white beach that trailed up the coast for miles up out of the water rose a sight to be seen -  a whale had breached – unbelievable.

After settling inot our apartment that was so large and spacious we all agreed that this time we had hit the jackpot with our Burleigh Heads accommodation and as we all headed into the indoor pool area it was a great dash to get a good spot in the sauna room before relaxing in the spa and pool.

The location of Burleigh Surf was perfect, so close to the Surf Club and the bus route was only a few minutes walk away.  A great time was had by all with lots of fun and awesome memories to take back and share with all the family from our Burleigh Heads Holiday.”

“I took a holiday on the Gold Coast this month and stayed at an amazing place called Burleigh Surf Apartments, only minutes away from the famous surfing headland of Burleigh Heads. When I arrived at my holiday accommodation, the surf was pumping, sun was out and I couldn`t wait to get wet. First chance I got I went out for a wave at the point and got an in-out on my first wave (stoked!) Ended up having a 3 hour session then came back to my apartment and sank a few beers in my own private spa bath – how good is this!

Next morning woke up and checked the surf from my balcony, not a breathe of wind or cloud in the sky, the surf was glassy and about 3-4 feet which was perfect to try out my new fish on the beachies. Had some sick waves and even had a visit from a pod of dolphins – awesome! Water was warm and it felt great to be surfing in boardies again. Lazed around the pool, had lunch and then another quick sech for the arvo glass off.

Next morning looked out and the surf had picked up to 5-6 feet, took out my 6’5 and headed out to the point, it was shallow and lining up right through to the rock break with a few lulls in between, I hadn`t seen surf this good in ages. After rippin surf for a good 3 hours I decided to have a swim in the heated pool then relax in the sauna for a while. Had a BBQ for lunch, hit of tennis and then relaxed on the balcony with some beers watching the sun go down.

Never stayed at Burleigh Surf before but I`ll sure be back, location is fantastic – right across from the beach and the facilities offer everything you could ask for when you`re not surfing. My apartment was unreal, great views of the beach and surf, great storage for the boards downstairs too! – can’t wait to come back for a longer stay next time!”
